Both races are out-and-back on the trails of Tilden Park in Berkeley. The 5K starts at 9:00 AM and the 1-mile kids run at 10:00 AM on Thanksgiving Day — arrive early to park and warm up!

Both races start at the same spot and follow the same trail out and back.
Race headquarters
Snacks, music and festivities before and after the race at the staging area near Camp Alders.
Unofficial timing
This is a community fun run — no bibs or chip timers. Finish times are unofficial, so run your own race and just enjoy the morning.
Where to go on race morning
The yellow X marks the start line for both races. The purple outline is race headquarters — that's where you'll find check-in, snacks and music.
Getting There
Tilden Park is located in the Berkeley Hills. We recommend carpooling and arriving at least 30 minutes before the 9:00 AM 5K start. Follow the Turkey Trot signs and volunteer marshals on race morning.
